The secretariat of the Italian Society of Photobiology is happy to announce that the 2024 conference will take place in Messina, 9 (start: 9 a.m.) – 11 (end: 1 p.m.) September
Continuing our tradition of encouraging interdisciplinary exchange, the 2024 conference intends to broaden the audience to encompass scientists from across the Mediterranean who are actively involved in these areas.

SIFB Fellowships
Three fellowships will be available covering the conference fee and a contribution of € 150.
Eligible candidates are early carreer students (Ph. D. students and postdocs).
The selection will be made on the basis of the CV.
CV must be sent to info.at.sifb.it by 17 May 2024
Winners will be notified by 24 May 2024
SCI-Sicilia Fellowships
Il consiglio direttivo SCI-Sicilia mette a disposizione tre borse di studio per soci SCI junior della relativa Sezione che copriranno le spese di iscrizione per la partecipazione al congresso.
La procedura per l’assegnazione avverrà mediante selezione operata dal Direttivo della Sezione Sicilia.
I candidati dovranno inviare tramite e-mail all’indirizzo sci_sicilia@chim.it, un breve curriculum vitae, indicando sia la posizione attuale (PhD student, RTD-A, etc) che la data di nascita, una lettera motivazionale e l’abstract del contributo sottomesso al comitato scientifico del congresso avendo cura di specificare se si tratta di un contributo orale o poster.
Il termine per la presentazione delle domande è il 21 giugno 2024.
L’assegnazione della borsa di studio sarà pubblicata sul sito della nostra Sezione.
La comunicazione al vincitore avverrà via e-mail entro il 5 luglio 2024. Nota importante: le borse SIFB e SCI non sono cumulabili.
Registration and Abstract submission
For registration, the relevant google form must compiled and sumbitted by 21 June 2024
Abstract submission deadline is also 21 June 2024
Abstract can be submitted using the same google form if logged with a gmail account.
Otherwise the abstact can be sent by email to info.at.sifb.it
The name of the file sent must be: Surname.Name.doc(x)

Abstract acceptance will be communicated by 28 June 2024
Conference fee payment
Conference fee must be payed by 25 July 2024
IMPORTANT NOTE: for the italian participants only, the SIFB membership subscription is mandatory.
Please refer to the relevant section of the site.
Fee for Academic Delegate (RTDA included): € 200
Fee for Students, PhD and post-doc: € 100
The fee includes admission to scientific program, congress documentation, refreshments during the coffee breaks and buffet lunch.
Social dinner cost is € 40 and will be added to the registration fee.
